Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme shall be required to appear in i) Physics ii) Chemistry and iii) Biology/Math./Agri.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year (2+4) programme.

Details of the subjects of Agriculture Aptitude Test are as under:

For M.Sc Programme

The question paper for entrance test will consist of 100 objective multiple choice questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. Questions not attempted will be ignored. In this way the question paper will be of 100 marks of 1¾ hour duration. The details of 100 questions would be as under:

Section A: General knowledge (Common for medical and non- medical stream) 5 Marks
Section B: Chemistry (Common for medical and non-medical stream) 35 Marks
Section C: Biological Science (For Medical Stream) 60 Marks
Section D: – Mathematics and Physics (For Non-Medical Stream) 60 Marks

M.Sc. (Agri.) all programmes

Objective type multi-choice questions: 200
(Half mark will be awarded for each correct answer)
Total Marks: 100

Duration of test : 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM
(30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and 2 ½ hours for solving question papers.)
